If you are a rich and well to do businessman, it should not be a problem for you to purchase a truck, which is a dream for umpteen number of businessmen. But unfortunately the macro picture is not so rosy. Not many people can afford to purchase trucks, which are exorbitantly priced. For the one who is renting his truck, that would be an additional source of income as rent. And for the one who is hiring it, he is of the opinion that he is saving a lot, as he does not need to purchase an entire truck and can get away only by paying a few dollars as transportation charges. Hiring a truck is also not as simple as it sounds. The reason being, that there are so many choices available today that one finds it difficult to make a choice. You can either hire a big truck or a small one with lesser capacity. And it is but obvious, that the rates would also follow suit.
